I lead AI at Datatailr, which builds computing tools for hedge funds and HFTs. I also own the infrastructure and DevOps under the platform, and work on the query engine, a federation layer over 100,000+ tables.
What I work on at Datatailr. Pick a node.
The longer version.
At Datatailr I'm the lead AI engineer, and I've been on the founding team since 2023. The AI side is retrieval, vector search, embeddings and the MCP servers that expose them. The rest goes to the infrastructure under our platform and to a query engine that answers across 100,000 tables without copying any of them.
I've been competing since school. More than 250 rated contests so far, across LeetCode, CodeChef and Codeforces. Most of how I break a problem down comes from that.
I build small tools when something annoys me enough. Both projects further down started that way, a video pipeline and a deck pipeline I wanted an assistant to be able to rebuild.
I travel when I can and the camera comes along. Nothing is on the photographs page yet.
Before Datatailr I wrote Rust at Juspay on Hyperswitch, their open-source payment orchestrator. Earlier than that, internships at IBM and Brane, and a GitHub externship with Suborbital writing WebAssembly runnables.

Founding Engineer
From 2023
Lead the AI work, from retrieval and vector search through to embeddings and MCP servers. Own infrastructure and DevOps on the platform: Terraform across four clouds, a private network cluster on Azure, DAG-based batch orchestration, CI/CD, 75% off the compute bill. Also work on the query engine, a Trino layer over Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Hive, S3 and MySQL, cutting heavy query runtimes by 90% and letting quants join across sources with no ETL step. 10+ business deployments, +250% ARR, a $500k pipeline, and direct work with enterprise clients on rollouts.
